I imagine asking for sex wouldn't go as well. You can ask for a picture of the moon and you might get it. You can ask for the moon iteself, but that is much harder to deliver.
I've always gotten along quite well with women... generally better then with guys. You usually have to build some rapport with them first, but it's fairly simple.
